General & Safety

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes. Treatments are carried out by a fully qualified, insured practitioner in a clean, hygienic clinic on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.

Who do you treat?

Adults aged 18+ of all genders following medical screening. If a different approach would suit you better, we'll advise honestly.

I'm pregnant or breastfeeding—can I be treated?

No. Cosmetic injectables and many other procedures are not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Can I do multiple treatments in one day?

Sometimes—e.g., anti-wrinkle with dermaplaning is often fine. Other combos (like filler with microneedling) are spaced at least 2 weeks. We'll map a safe sequence for your plan.

Appointments & Aftercare

What happens at consultation?

The desired treatment is discussed in detail such as what to expect, how it works and aftercare. We also determine what your goals are and check suitability for treatment. A treatment plan will then be recommended in order to help achieve your desired results.

How should I prepare for my treatments?

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible. Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours pre-treatment to minimise the risk of bruising. If safe for you, avoid NSAIDs (ibuprofen/aspirin) 24 hours before to reduce bruising.

Common side effects?

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and possible bruising. Full risks/contraindications are discussed at consultation for each treatment.

Flying or big events?

Plan major injectables at least 2–3 weeks before an occasion so that they have ample time to settle. You'll need to avoid flying at least seven days post-treatment with any dermal filler treatments.

Dermal Filler & Lip Filler

How long do fillers last?

Most HA fillers last ~6–18 months depending on area, product and metabolism.

Will I swell or bruise?

Some swelling/bruising is normal.

What's a "Russian lip" and do you offer it?

Yes. It's a vertical placement technique to lift and define the Cupid's bow and add upper-lip height. It takes longer and uses precise micro-deposits.

Can you correct or dissolve filler?

We do not offer elective dissolving. Dissolving is only carried out if there's a complication.

Fat Reduction: Aqualyx®, Lemon Bottle & Cryolipolysis

Fat dissolving injections vs Fat freezing (Cryolipolysis) - What's the difference?

Aqualyx® / Lemon Bottle: Injectable treatments which use a solution to target fat cells and kill them.
Cryolipolysis: Freezes fat cells using controlled cooling. No needles.

How many sessions will I need?

A minimum of three sessions is advised with each treatment. The total number of sessions needed will vary from client to client depending on their goals and how well they respond to the treatment.

When will I see results?

Aqualyx®: Progressive over several weeks as your body clears fat.
Lemon Bottle: Some clients notice change from ~24 hours; full outcome develops over weeks.
Cryolipolysis: Gradual reduction from ~3–6 weeks; peak around 8–12 weeks.

Are results permanent?

Targeted fat cells are permanently destroyed but it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle as the formation of new fat cells can otherwise occur.

Who isn't suitable?

Pregnancy/breastfeeding, severe allergies, certain metabolic, liver/kidney conditions and some skin disorders. Full screening is required.

Skin Quality: Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides, Microneedling, Dermaplaning

Skin boosters vs Filler - What's the difference?

Skin boosters are a softer, less dense formula designed to deeply hydrate the skin and add volume all over. Dermal fillers are injected deeper into the skin to sculpt the face, add more concentrated volume in certain areas and to fill deeper lines.

Polynucleotides vs Skin boosters - How do I choose?

Polynucleotide treatments use nucleotides to facilitate cellular repair and renewal while skin boosters are primarily composed of hyaluronic acid. Polynucleotides offer a regenerative approach, inducing long-term skin improvements and structural healing from within. Meanwhile, skin boosters provide immediate hydration and enhance skin texture for a natural glow.

Polynucleotides and skin boosters work well together and can both be used for optimal skin revitalisation.

Semi Permanent Makeup (SPMU) & HD Brows

Powder/Ombre brows—how long do they last?

Around 12–24 months with an annual top-up recommended. Initial top-up at 6–8 weeks is included in the SPMU price.

What's the healing like for SPMU?

Colour looks 30–50% darker for 1–2 weeks, then softens as skin heals. Some flaking is normal—don't pick.

Do I need patch tests?

Yes. Patch test required at least 48 hours before SPMU and HD Brows tint.

How often should I book HD Brows?

Every 4–6 weeks to maintain shape. Tint typically lasts 2–4 weeks.

My brows are sparse—can you help?

Yes. Tint + precise mapping can maximise your current growth, and SPMU offers long-lasting definition where hair is missing.

Vitamin Injections: C, B12 & D

Why choose injections over tablets?

Injections deliver a reliable dose without relying on digestive absorption—many clients feel benefits sooner.

How often should I book?

Vitamin C: every 4 weeks.
B12: every 4 weeks for the first 12 weeks, then every 12 weeks (varies).
Vitamin D: typically every 6–12 months.

Any downtime?

No—mild local tenderness is possible for a few hours.
